MOTS C-10X
XENE BIOLABS RESEARCH SERIES
FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY
Category: Mitochondrial Peptide | Half-life: 2-4h
Mechanism
Mitochondrial-derived peptide. AMPK activation, glucose uptake, mitochondrial biogenesis. Exercise mimetic. Improves insulin sensitivity.
Dosing Protocol
Reconstitution: 10 mg + 2 mL BAC = 5 mg/mL. 5 mg = 1.0 mL = 100 units.
Critical: Take fasted. Best before exercise. Improves with training stimulus.
MOTS C-10X | Mitochondrial-Derived Peptide / AMPK Activator | CAS: 1627580-64-6
MOTS-c (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA type-c) is a mitochondria-derived peptide that translocates to the nucleus under metabolic stress and activates AMPK. It improves insulin sensitivity, enhances mitochondrial biogenesis, reduces oxidative stress, and supports skeletal muscle glucose uptake. Strongly cardioprotective and metabolically beneficial.
DOSING PROTOCOL
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Dose | 5–10 mg/week SubQ (split 1–2x/week) — research doses up to 1 mg/day |
| Common Protocol | 1 mg/day SubQ — daily dosing used in practice |
| Timing | Any time; PM preferred for recovery/metabolic overnight benefit |
| Cycle Length | 8–12 weeks on; 4–8 weeks off |
STACKING RECOMMENDATIONS
Synergistic with Berberine (dual AMPK activation via different pathways). Combine with Epithalon for longevity and mitochondrial health. Stack with Tesamorelin or CJC+IPA for enhanced fat-loss support. Cardioprotective synergy with CoQ10.
Note: One of the most cardioprotective peptides available. May help reduce inflammatory cytokines. No suppression reported. Commonly used as a supportive agent in metabolic and cardiovascular wellness protocols.
